NEWSLETTER #8 - March 2009

Hello everyone ,

the construction is moving ahead at a very fast pace. The building is really starting to take shape. This is very exciting time and we plan to start the final floor in about 3 weeks. We hope to be completed with the entire shell of all the units around June!

We thought this time we provide you with some arial shots of the building and views from the beach. It was not easy getting some of those shots since we had some one climb the crane and walk the end of the carne to capture some of these great shots. It will give you a great perspective!

Hope you enjoy them.

We are continuing to make great progress and we have a great crew on site. You may not know but as the building continues to rise there is a large crew of plumbers and electricians in all the units on the first floor coordinating the installations.

Now is the time for you to start choosing all your custom details like built in sofas, beds and all the upgrades available to you. The developer (Jack Perlman) will be contacting you in the weeks to come and review the specific details available for your unit.

As you may know Jack personally oversees all the details for the entire building. He is leaving for Bali Indonesia in a few weeks to finalize the shopping list for El Taj Oceanfront. He plans to ship several more containers with lots of accessories including fountains, architectural details, lighting fixtures, furniture for the common areas as well as the new beach club.

There is lots of tourists in town. The weather has been just amazing.

A new restaurant (Mosquito Blue) has recently opened where the former Glass bar used to be on the corner of 12th Street and Fifth Avenue. The owner is Andrea, yes our Andrea of Negrosal! It is just the most beautiful restaurant you can imagine! Very chic and Class! The furniture was designed by the world renowned architect Philippe Stark. Everybody is taking pictures just like they do of our projects. Perhaps you judge for yourself, the level of quality and rate the dining experience next time your in Playa. But in the meantime, down below you will see a few pictures. Make sure you introduce yourself to Andrea and let him know your an El Taj owner because he will also operate the new restaurant in El Taj. He also holds the concession for the beach club located in front of El Taj. Andrea promises the beach club will be the most amazing place imaginable! If his new restaurant is any indication of what he plans to do in El Taj then you better prepare for something really incredible. His only mandate for El Taj Restaurant is to keep a Balinese theme. He is sending his designers with Jack to Bali next month.
